Day Three: Funding Tech in your Classroom

We're considering several creative ways to get classroom funding from parents, friends and family for our students. Click here to go directly to PayPal and set up a charitable donations button.

Here's Melvin's example for using PayPal to obtain donations.
Here's Skip's page as well.

One way is gifting Apps from the App Store in iTunes. Click here for a tutorial on the process.

You can also purchase iTunes gift certificates in specific amounts... the purchaser just needs to know your email address you're using for the account. Click here to check it out. Here's the code:

Donors Choose is another way to fund your classroom for a specific project. There are some hoops to jump through, but it works.

Adopt a Classroom allows donations which are spent at certain online stores... good for general classroom supplies.

Goal: by the 13th of August, we'll meet again and have completed chapter 1 of math and chapter 1 of language arts/HM reading at our grade levels.
