We met for a day-long collaborative learning session. Present were Mary Ellen Pontius (RSP), Skip Rogers and Aurora Ruiz (both 4th grade) from Shelyn; Melvin Cortez (6th) & Patty Mendoza (4th) from Hurley; Danielle Caro (6th) & Nancy Buck (5th) from Jellick.

We worked on our specific inquiry. After a lot of hammering, we came to this term: "How can we use iPods to improve, motivate and support student learning in the classroom?"

Our action plan includes: Research, Try, Reflect and Share (R.T.R.S). We will meet again on October 25th. Patty is going to share a video on the iPod for recording student voices, as well as watching a podcast and using a report form tools she created. The rest of us will try to find 3 useful apps to test with our students, and be prepared to share our findings.
