Literacy Network Meeting 3/18/11

We met with 3 other CoPs and shared across groups.

Melvin shared our goals from January to check our progress. Melvin found that 27/30 passed the benchmark for multiplication tables. He started with the assessment to find struggles; pulled small groups based on their struggles; retested. Smaller groups helped him create diagnostics to address one problem at a time, and remediate. Those who really need practice went to Math in a Flash for more practice. The rest of the class worked on Pizza Fractions 2.

Prezi is a great way to present ideas online. You can set yourself up for a free educational account. Click here for more info and to sign up.
